We support standard video links (www.tiktok.com/@username/video/ID), mobile-web links (m.tiktok.com), photo-post links (/photo/ID), short links vm.tiktok.com and vt.tiktok.com, and share short codes tiktok.com/t/…. We automatically add https:// if you paste a link without a scheme.

For several reasons: the video may be deleted, the account may have gone private, or the video may be region- or age-restricted — all of these surface as a clear message, because we can’t and don’t try to bypass them. TikTok also occasionally shows a temporary automated-check page in front of requests, so an attempt can fail even when the video is fine; wait a moment and try again.

We don’t promise that. We offer exactly two options: the download variant TikTok itself provides (the same one its in-app “Save video” button uses) and the playback/stream variant. Whether a file carries a watermark depends on the video and its creator’s settings; nothing in the public response confirms it, so we simply describe both options honestly.

It depends on the content and your rights to it. Downloading your own videos, or content the owner has explicitly let you use, is generally fine. Downloading other people’s videos and reposting or commercially exploiting them without permission can infringe the creators’ intellectual-property and privacy rights and TikTok’s terms. No. We never store videos on our servers, and we keep no record of your downloads. The link you submit is processed in the server’s memory for the moment it takes to fetch the video’s public page and extract the media options — then the server discards it.

Because TikTok’s content-delivery network requires a special verification token (a first-party cookie from the tiktok.com domain) before it will send the video file, and your browser can’t attach that token from our site — direct downloads are refused with a 403. So our servers fetch the file and re-stream it to you securely via a signed ticket that expires after thirty minutes, without ever exposing the raw media URL to your browser.

Yes — reasonable ones, to protect the service from abuse: roughly twenty link resolutions per minute and forty downloads per minute per address. If you exceed a limit the site will tell you plainly; wait about a minute and try again.

Photo-post links (the /photo/ID kind) are supported and handled like video pages, because TikTok serves their data in the same structure. The outcome depends on whether downloadable media exists in the page; if we find none, the site tells you so plainly.
